Chapman Lee

Chapman joined Hugill & Ip first as an intern, then as a Trainee Solicitor in the summer of 2024 after completion of the part-time Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the University of Hong Kong. He is currently rotating within the non-contentious private client team.

Chapman obtained his LLB from the University of Manchester in 2018. He interned with the Compliance and Trust team of a leading offshore corporate service provider during the summers of 2015 and 2016 while pursuing his LLB.

Following his graduation, he commenced his career with the wealth planning team of a major local private bank, where he provided comprehensive advisory services to clients on wealth planning solutions, including establishment of offshore trusts, subscription to insurance policies, and the exploration of diverse estate planning strategies.

Outside of work, Chapman is passionate about playing basketball and muaythai, as well as watching Football and Formula 1 with family and friends. He has a passion for various genres of music, which he enjoys through his cherished in-ear monitor systems.

Chapman is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin and he is actively learning Korean.
